HoLing Hui's legal name was Sylvia Hui Lam. In August, 2003, Ms. Lam was tragically killed crossing the street in St. Paul, MN. She is survived by her husband, two sons, a daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. Two memorial funds were set up in her name to continue her legacy in her artistic and professional lives. Quesions about these funds may be forwarded to her surviving family. Sylvia Ho-Ling Hui Lam Memorial Fund. Sylvia H. Lam Endowed Cancer Research Fund. Ms Lam worked at the University of Minnesota.
