The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 gives parents the right of appeal against any decision affecting their child. If you have been refused a place for your child at your preferred school, you are entitled to attend an appeal hearing in front of an Independent Appeal Panel. You can only appeal for schools that you have been refused for. Complete the online appeal form.
