Yesterday (11/9/08), Jessica and I joined our church; immediately after we joined, Alex was baptized. A relatively brief (I'm wordy, remember? Summary of why we baptized Alex can be found here. We didn't capture any photos of the service (with all of the photographers and camera's in our family, how could this be? But we did get some photos at our house afterward.

He hardly ever touches them or even notices them at all. The most difficult part is getting them off and on - I'm not very good at that yet. I know that this weekend is all about remembering the soldiers who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms, and while I'm extremely thankful for that, I can't stop thinking about David. I really thought I was doing well and was at peace with it, but now my feelings are changing again. I still believe that God knows what's best for us, but I want my baby back.
