Chris and elizabeth's big adventure. Two Americans living in Uppsala. Monday, January 31, 2011. These bus stops are defective. While walking around town on Sunday we started noticing a series of busted bus stops. I can't imagine what would possess someone to go around breaking bus stop windows, so I imagine it is probably a similar situation to the video below. I was going to teach you all about recycling today., however we had such a wonderful sunrise this morning I decided to put the recycling on hold and just show some pretty pictures instead. Chris and elizabeth's big adventure. Two Americans living in Uppsala. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Last Sunday, the 13 th. Not the 20 th. As we were returning from Stockholm we encountered ice sculptures carving their creations throughout Uppsala. As we walked back from the train station we got to see a number of them working with their chainsaws and chisels. I think this was one of our favorites. There was also also a man next to the cathedral that was quite nice but he was hard to photograph.

Chris and elizabeth's big adventure. Two Americans living in Uppsala. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. We had a few places that we wanted to go while in Stockholm over the weekend. One of them was Saluhall. Is a market hall that has butchers, fruit vendors, delis and cafes all in the same building. All of the stands were filled with the most delicious looking food imaginable. If we lived near this place I expect we would purchase a great deal of goods there. Elizabeth had heard of Saluhall.
