Heather and Chris's blog. Chronicling our new life, from Victoria to Ottawa. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Since the festival, Chris organized a paddling event for the Senator draft picks. He had them form two teams, learn to paddle and then race against each other. I hounded him into letting me participate, and so I got to stroke for one team. By far my favorite moment was hearing one of the young recruits say "So, what is this? Is this like a sport or something? Ahhh, the uneducated :).
