The color of red: March 2010
http://sharayahco.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The color of red. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Don't you just want to hold him for always? Tuesday, March 30, 2010. All in one day. The day started with an ECard for Janna. She's getting so old! I'm glad that her birthday comes a day after Nolan's- I will never forget it now. Of course, the card featured Hoops and YoYo, perhaps the best Hallmark characters ever created. Give her the strength! Album by the O.C. Supertones. And next comes our youth group favorite- ultimate frisbee! Any who, Incognito number ...

The color of red: January 2010
http://sharayahco.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The color of red. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Two references really. That is Relient K as well as FM Static. 10 electronic points to you if you recognized that. Now on to the purpose. Some things I'm looking forward to:. Not so many lights in the neighborhood that hinder me from seeing the stars at night. Possibly even seeing stars I've yet to see (cough Southern Hemisphere cough). Long long. long meals with people. Meals that probably start after 8pm. Struggling with language barriers. Two stories of death.

The color of red: My goodness, my Guinness and GOOOOAAALLL!!!
http://sharayahco.blogspot.com/2010/08/my-goodness-my-guinness-and-gooooaaalll.html
The color of red. Saturday, August 21, 2010. My goodness, my Guinness and GOOOOAAALLL! So it's still very clear that I don't like beer. I suppose that's not what this day was all about, so I let everything lead up to it in time. So we wake up, eat some b-fast, and then head out toward Molly Malone and the very tall spire. Who's Molly Malone and what's the spire all about? No something to note though, is that there's a science to drinking beer that I never knew about. Apparently, you're supposed to ta...

The color of red. Sunday, August 29, 2010. That is, more like Saturday in Killarney. Well first- a taxi to the train station. A train to Mallow. Another train to Killarney. A taxi to our not as cute hotel. Killarney! Killarney has a beautiful national park that I had read about. I was told to rent bikes and just go for it. So that's what we did. The place was beautiful, the paths were great, and the bikes were only 10Euro each (no time limit that I know of). One word: GREEN! Everybody say S* *! When it c...

The color of red. Thursday, April 29, 2010. I find Anberlin to be therapeutic. Almost all of Anberlin's stuff just makes me sing at the top of my lungs again. Kind of like the kid on the link my dad posted on my facebook wall this morning. Then, because he was in such a hurry, he ran into the curb, which caused the front hub cap to shoot off, and the front bumper to come loose. The van was then t-boned by another vehicle, and the motorcycle slid on its own error just a little further ahead in the lot.

The color of red: May 2010
http://sharayahco.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
The color of red. Monday, May 31, 2010. I get it now. I get why people wake up at the crack of dawn to run marathons. I guess you can say that I've never thought of running a marathon before. I still don't have the desire, but as I ran this year's Bolder Boulder (and praise the Lord for no wind! And I had read about a guy who had completed a 100 mile race, how his toes had turned black and how he lost two toe nails. That kind of thing made me vomit a little on the inside. I'm just saying I get it. Ru...

The color of red: November 2009
http://sharayahco.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
The color of red. Monday, November 30, 2009. I stopped to remember that Mondays are usually my day off. I usually just spend time at home, doing the things I love to do. But since this last week was such a break, I felt that I should go into work any way. Yet when I did go in to work, I felt like I didn't get anything done. It's a gentle reminder that I'm not Superman. It's a reminder that God's the one in control. Even Masha recently wrote to me along these lines:. I am only human. Remember the command ...

The color of red: Surfin' Ireland (to the Beach Boys tune)
http://sharayahco.blogspot.com/2010/09/surfin-ireland-to-beach-boys-tune.html
The color of red. Thursday, September 16, 2010. Surfin' Ireland (to the Beach Boys tune). Yeah, doesn't quite work as well. And I often got strange looks when I told people I was going to learn to surf in Ireland. It was as if the land of leprechauns was not allowed to have nautical-type fun even though, hello? It's an island. Surrounded by water- conditions, as Flight of the Conchords would say, are perfect (just don't wear socks while surfing. THAT would be strange). Dad in fact, beat us to the punch (...
