We're getting on that 40 hour bus Kiev-London tomorrow and yet as we're sitting here in Kiev it's not really sinking in. Friday, 30 October 2009. After wandering for what seemed like hours through this poxy building site this brilliantly constructed sentence did nothing to ease tensions. We only wanted to cross the road to Shanghai's tallest building! This was inside Silje's purse! Us adopting the standard Chinese photo pose with Clare and Chris our new roomies. Friday, 29 January 2010. We made it to Cambodia- by boat! The most memorable border crossing so far- on the Mekong, by boat, drinking cold Angkor beer! Dobson getting his passport checked and visa issued! Thursday, 24 June 2010. Trans-Siberian journey home 12-18/06/10. Pleased to be on our way home! Chris and his Russian train mate, Kevin! At the Russian/ Chinese border. Waiting for passports to be checked and wheels to be changed from the Chinese train to the Russian one! Of course we had to have a shot of Baikal Vodka as we passed Lake Baikal! Almost like home after 10 months in Asia! Green grass, birch trees, fresh summer breeze and summer flowers.aaahhh! The No.3 Pekin-Moskva. Vietnam- Cat Ba Island.

Sunday, 29 November 2009. Our beautiful breakfast at 'Living and Giving Cafe'. Silje, Linda, Chris, Aino, Hertta, at Sankara nightclub. Washing up following dinner- they had a well in their garden!
