Laquo; You guys, don’t try to deny that you like Tom Petty. Kicking it to Next Year. August 29, 2008 by Ida. I just changed the password on an email account I’ve had for over ten years. Let me say that again: this email account, the one I’ve had for over ten years, was accessed with the same, somewhat easily guessable, absolutely not encrypted password until just now, because I finally changed it. I know. Why now? I ask you: why not? I didn’t make the jam.). On August 30, 2008 at 10:43 am. Enchilada Pie ...

Laquo; Enchilada Pie or You’re Killing Me! You guys, don’t try to deny that you like Tom Petty. June 13, 2008 by Ida. After 18 years as a registered voter, I’ve been summoned. Summons, my friends. Civic duty is everywhere, for everyone (except convicted felons). I immediately requested an exemption. But not because I’m a felon. Because of nursing. Perhaps we’ll serve on the same jury some day. That could only happen in a movie at least as ridiculous as the fake one in the title of this post.). I just got...

Friday, April 17, 2015. Dreams Don't Match Life. I've been having nightmares, followed by a series of intensely sexual dreams about connecting with people, rejoining, and unifying with parts of myself that I thought had been lost forever. Then I wake up, feeling tired, stressed and more unable to take care of myself than ever. What's happening here? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). And so it goes. Hip to be square. I Can Kick Your Ass. Well thats very British isnt it? An Archive of Nonsense. The Boat Doth Rock.

A writer tries to describe what life is like as a slave to the dipping sauce. Better Living through Condiments. Tuesday, February 27, 2007. A co-worker just got back from Greece after dumping a ton of project work on me and disappearing. Blame HIM for me not blogging as much! Who knows until I dip something into it and let it flavors sneak up my tongue and take me to foreign lands. I still miss the olives. I asked him about them. Oh, you can get Kalamata anywhere! We had them with every meal! Okay, forag...

A writer tries to describe what life is like as a slave to the dipping sauce. Better Living through Condiments. Friday, June 30, 2006. From healthful to sinful: the evolution of celery salt. Celery is fine on its own, as long as you have a decent dipping sauce. It does provide a crunchy, juicy experience that especially goes well with mayonnaise or cream-based dips. But it's not like I walk through the store and get all excited when I see celery "We have to buy celery! When I first heard of celery salt, ...

Monday, August 17, 2015. An excerpt of "Half Life (a zombie love letter for no one)" will be read in the Kennedy Center's Page to Stage Festival this Labor Day Weekend. I just sent off the script and it will be directed by local luminary KenYatta Rogers and performed by.not me. POST NOTE: It was awesome, fyi. Friday, August 07, 2015. I started this blog ten years ago. I simply can't believe that I'm 39. There are lots of good things about being 39, but I also feel empty. Wednesday, August 05, 2015. Frenc...

Sunday, June 08, 2014. I hung onto it's tail and ran to the bathroom to get it out. I couldn't believe something that horrible was close to the most vulnerable part of me. The whole hotel was run by this Asian couple who didn't seem to think it was a problem that there were rodents everywhere. Saturday, June 07, 2014. While it's true, I have not seen. Last night I dreamed that I was at a picnic table with friends and who should sit down and say hello, but Hans A. He looked a lot older and had Parkins...

Lively: 27 years in the workforce
http://posseadesse.blogspot.com/2015/08/27-years-in-workforce.html
Wednesday, August 05, 2015. 27 years in the workforce. I've been working since I was 12. That's 27 years in the workforce. I just realized that in all that time, I've prepared myself for nothing. I couldn't get a real job if I tried. Or worse, I've prepared myself for a life in the theatre, which is to be broke and unsuccessful forever. I kind of wish that lived in LA and worked for Netflix.
