So what the graphics says to your and your families. Stay warm. Hard up for ideas I just started making marks with charcoal. Ended up with this. I Scanned it in, digitized and pulled in some other elements that I had already created and stored in a library of concepts that never saw the light of day. Assembled and placed in a layout. The Goodest invitation →. January 18, 2014 · 2:44 pm. And down the stretch they come. And the winner is … actually I don’t remember who won the Kentucky Derby. That was way back in May and it was warm weather that is what I remember. Oh and I designed some invitations for a Derby themed party. As usual I began with thumbnail sketches. The hostess wanted to emphasize derby attire so we focused on typical accessories people wear to the Derby. Horse shoes seemed to make sense for this project.

And down the stretch they come. March 10, 2014 · 4:23 pm. This was a fun one. I was a smaller part of it but still thought it worth sharing. Brian Goodman, a good friend and talented photographer. Was turning 40 and of course this called for a 4oth birthday party complete with printed invitations. This was a fun collaboration with my other good friend Melissa of Little Doris Press. Note: I lost the original sketches, so no process to show on this one. I know, I know, the worth of those sketches now.

25 / Aug / 2014. Identity as a Habit. Recently-ish I decided that I have a few personality traits I'd like to adopt, in order to support future goals/ambitions. Problem: They're the opposite of some other traits that I view as core to my identity.
