Love of Threads: April 2015
http://laceandquilts.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
I realized there is so much "lace talk" and "quilt talk" on my main blog which not everybody might enjoy. So . the main blog will be "private stuff" like family and travel. It will take a while but I want to share my lace and quilt patterns with you. Friday, April 17, 2015. Several months ago the Church Mice gave us this Challenge:. I took everything totally apart and cut with a Dresden plate ruler. Second Monday of the month: Colonial Lacemakers. I had not worked on my pillow in so long (December? Marsh...

When I look now at this picture it really doesn't show what a crowd it was. There were stands with food across this and tents with picnic benches. And then sometime...

The Cotton Robin: Here it is... The Big Reveal!
http://cottonrobin.blogspot.com/2015/07/here-it-is-big-reveal.html
Round Robins for Quilters. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Here it is. The Big Reveal! Note: edited to correct the quilters for Sandra's quilt! As always, Blogger has defeated my attempts to present these in alphabetical order, but as long as all the quilts are right-side up, I'm not going to stress. With no further ado, here are the 2015 results! This was Catherine's starting block. And the quilt finished by Jay, Laurina and Tami. Here is Cathy A's center block. And the quilt made by Terry, Marie, and Cathy L.

Lettuce Be Glad: MIA??
http://lettucebeglad.blogspot.com/2013/03/mia.html
Friday, March 29, 2013. It's the end of March- my last post was wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Where has the time gone? So much has happened. Cooper won the District Free Throw Contest for 10 year olds. Katie and Tim got engaged! I am losing with my March Madness bracket picks. Cooper made the Honor Roll. Jon coached Coopers bball team and they had a banner season (not really- they only won one, but it was a great experience for both of them). Work has almost consumed me. April 3, 2013 at 5:43 PM.

What Fresh Hell Is This?: October 2011
http://ohgodwhatfreshhellisthis.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
What Fresh Hell Is This? Saturday, October 22, 2011. My Daughter is Trying to Kill Me. I have no idea why The Child is trying to effect my demise, but it is obvious that she is. Evidence:. 1) The move to an apartment in the city. 2) The creepy alley entrance to said apartment. 3) The multiple car accidents. 4) Gallivanting off by Herself to New York City. This is the scene of her latest attempt:. This is the Sun Trust building in downtown Richmond. It is 25 stories high. And this:. Labels: Over the edge.

What Fresh Hell Is This?: July 2013
http://ohgodwhatfreshhellisthis.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
What Fresh Hell Is This? Monday, July 15, 2013. Won’t you be my neighbor? Won’t you be my neighbor? Neighborliness, kindness and senseless loss have been rolling around my thoughts this weekend. The Gospel reading at church yesterday was the parable of the Good Samaritan from the Gospel of Luke. I sat thinking of how ironic and painful it was to hear this story, this lesson, this instruction while thoughts of Trayvon Martin and the outcome of the Zimmerman trial were in everyone’s minds. I can never know.

What Fresh Hell Is This?: April 2014
http://ohgodwhatfreshhellisthis.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
What Fresh Hell Is This? Tuesday, April 8, 2014. So my life is never going to be without the things that keep me busy (nor would I want it to) and my cozy little study doesn’t exist. Do I just give up and let this blog be one of the millions that peter out? Do I make grand promises to sit down for an hour every day? So, I’ll try. I’ll get out my notes and pamphlets and pull up the pictures and, who knows, we may find ourselves in Winchester! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Pound of Yeast. See my first post!
