45,000 Miles and Back …. plus a bit more! Off to H’India! July 28, 2007. Unfortunately, working on the farm has fallen through. There is not enough work. We are going to stay here in Salta for another couple of days and then head up North to smaller Quechuan villages, before Bolivia. No cowboy life for us! We are hoping to find another ranch on our travels. Great night, retiring at 4am and not waking up until 2.45pm (! July 25, 2007. Photos at bottom – forces you to read this first :o). We are back ̷...

45,000 Miles and Back …. plus a bit more! Off to H’India! Pushkar to Udaipur – loved it! We had booked a hotel in Udaipur because we weren’t due in until 22:00. They sent a FREE (almost unheard of! The Kumbha Palace hotel is run by a Dutch lady who married an Indian chap. Although it was late we were offered food and beer – paradise! View from Kumbha Palace Hotel, City Walls]. Unfortunately the peace only lasted about 6 hours! We had been looking forward to a lie-in … ha ha ha! Udaipur is nice for wander...

45,000 Miles and Back …. plus a bit more! Off to H’India! Time to say goodbye to Sud América – Iquiqui and Santiago. August 25, 2007. It’s finally that time, to say goodbye to South America. We have had a wicked time here during the past few months. Our favourites places have to be Iguacu Falls, mountain biking down the world s most dangerous road, BsAs, Machu Picchu and not forgetting THE unforgetable experience we had in the jungle! The garlic was also a worry! We arrived in a town called Iquiqui.

Saturday, January 16, 2016. This year for Christmas vacation, Christian's parents took us all to Hawaii! Whenever I think about Hawaii, I think about my little brother, Jacob, breaking out into full voice singing on the airplane a song he made up, "We're going to Hawaii! I'm hoping he'll record it one of these days :). The house we rented had a pool which was amazing! We went to the ruins of the old king's castle! We hiked up to a light house (which wasn't there) but found this stunning view instead!
