Yellow Rose Arbor: Princess Diana
http://thingsienjooy.blogspot.com/2009/08/princess-diana.html
July 1, 1961 - August 31, 1997. I always remember Princess Diana's death and how I learned about it. I thought she was a lovely person, a lady, a genuine down to earth person. My daughters loved her when they were small and I allowed them to get up at 4:30 am to watch her fairy tale wedding! I can't remember if I bought this doll before or after her death. I think the resemblance is remarkable. I always liked that dress, she called it her Elvis dress! See the top picture). I loved her shy smile! I want t...

Lipstick Republican: Pray Like a Warrior
http://lipstickrepublican08.blogspot.com/2008/10/pray-like-warrior.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Pray Like a Warrior. We are a nation at war. Our military is strategically positioned throughout the world. The most important battle we face, however, is one not in Baghdad or Tikrit. It is a battle in the heavenlies. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. In the remaining week before the election, I join with others.

Yellow Rose Arbor: Spring Tablescape
http://thingsienjooy.blogspot.com/2011/05/spring-tablescape.html
I haven't posted a tablescape in a while, but I have had this new spring tablescape on our dining room table for several weeks now. I saw these pretty square plates at TJ Maxx some time ago and loved them because they were pale yellow. I wouldn't buy them though, even though they were only $3.99 each. A while later they went on sale! Now they were only $2.00 each! I gave in and brought them home! I wasn't able to find any of the smaller salad plates :-(. They look pretty with these napkins on top! Your t...

Yellow Rose Arbor: April 2015
http://thingsienjooy.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
This tablescape is for a luncheon before an egg painting party. Inspiration for this came from the cute little painting cans I found at Hobby Lobby this year. They were only $5.99 each and 40% off. They make such a cute centerpiece. These are all I bought for this tablescape, since I'm painting again I have lots of paint brushes! My love for oil painting was inspiration for buying the little paint buckets! Here are the individual mini paint cans:. And an Easter basket full of eggs and brushes. 160;Inspir...

I'm joining Cuisine Kathleen's Let's Dish Mother's Day Challenge. Thanks, Kathleen for hosting. Click on her name for lots more inspiration. I've created my Mother's Day Tribute using a few of my mother's favorite things. This brown felt handbag (we always called them purses! Was my mother's. She loved purses and shoes. I should have stuffed it before taking the pictures as it didn't stand up right. Anybody remember when the purses had a change purse inside? And a little mirror! Pearl napkin rings from R...

Yellow Rose Arbor: Family Wedding
http://thingsienjooy.blogspot.com/2015/05/family-wedding.html
We've had a very exciting month this May. My (second) grandson, Tanner, graduated college May 16th, then May 23rd, he and his sweet fiance' were married! They both graduated from Mercer University in Macon, GA and they have jobs there, so it will be their home now. The wedding being in Macon made it a "destination wedding" for all the family and some friends! The peaches were delicious! I captured Tanner's face. As Heather walked down the aisle with her dad! Share what I have for now. Alyson and I design...
