We kept a running list, and every year on July 19th, we loved reading it over and reminiscing about all the fun adventures we'd had. Seeing it again took my breath away. But it's just a piece of paper. Not just a piece of paper. His unique handwriting and his messages of love will forever be a comfort to me.
