Clumsy Navigator: August 2007
http://chocoandtomago.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 13, 2007. I am a love 'em or hate 'em kinda girl. Especially when it comes to clothing. I'll wear the same exact outfit over and over and over if I love it- and you know what? How often can you wear an outdoor technical shirt and not look like an 60. Year old school marm from 1982? You can keep your Royal Robbins and Gramicci - I'm sticking to my highly wickable, quick drying, breathable shirt. That's also cute. I honestly don't know how I'll ever replace it -. As good as blue. 4 topped wi...
Clumsy Navigator: March 2008

Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Delicious Wine - how I love thee. Our new every day table wine - under $15 and tasty. Not the typical California Cab - no over the top tannins or fruit explosion, but a really smooth, full body cabernet that goes well with most everything we eat. So far that would be Moroccan beef stew, grilled sausages, and lamb. Thursday, March 20, 2008. I'm ready to get outside! Watching the video for last year's trip is making me excited - maybe Olympic NP? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The A...

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Argh Aaarrghh. AAAARRRGHHH. My boss is a douchebag. In a way, his douchebaggery of the week only reaffirms the decision I made to quit. Unfortunately though, I have to give 120 days notice (! And have to endure approximately 93 more days of potential moments of ARRRGHHH! Treading water. He lacks the confidence to do basic procedures that a second year resident has mastery of. Furthermore, every other word out of his mouth is "what do you think of this? We tried a Portuguese sala...
Clumsy Navigator: January 2009
http://chocoandtomago.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2009. I woke up this morning excited that just a few hours later, our country would be blessed with a new President. That finally the last 8 years can begin to fade and we can head in a new direction. I found President Obama's inaugural address to be moving, beautiful, and hopeful. But I was also reminded this morning of how big our problems are. If they would be able to collect enough bottles for dinner tonight? Friday, January 2, 2009. Reminder: Why LA is good. The Glass of Time.
Clumsy Navigator: October 2007

Sunday, October 28, 2007. I think I missed the Bandwagon! By no means do I claim to be a music connoisseur of any kind. While I love listening to music, I confess to having extremely bad taste. (Yes, I really think Shakira is awesome. And yeah, I've been known to sing along to Kelly Clarkson.) But, thanks to my brother-in-law Alex. I didn't get what all the fuss was about. What people. Were raving over. That is until I saw Arcade Fire perform live at the Hollywood Bowl back in September. Keyboards, etc&#...
Clumsy Navigator: Book Repository Cooties

Friday, November 14, 2008. Study partner). Additionally, the thought of reading a publically owned item in my bed (and I admit, worse places) gave me the creeps. How many other people have read this book in who knows where? What if the previous patrons had children in the house who sneezed or slobbered on the books? That's hilarious. Gotta admit, that's one thing I never worried about. November 14, 2008 at 1:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). East Coast transplant to Pasadena. The Glass of Time.

Clumsy Navigator: Back in the Saddle
http://chocoandtomago.blogspot.com/2010/07/back-in-saddle.html
Saturday, July 10, 2010. Back in the Saddle. Well, I am pleased to report that I am back in the saddle. After a bike trip to Tahoe, I rediscovered the fun I have with technical trails, and that it IS worth it to tackle technical obstacles, lest I be stuck in a rut forever. I'm hoping to dedicate at least 3 days week to riding so that by the beginning of August, I'll be ready for my trip to Whistler! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). East Coast transplant to Pasadena. Must See Monday, Extra Credit. Bull;April 27, 2011 • Leave a Comment. On Monday, April 25, I had the opportunity of attending an event at the Cronkite School. This event focused on Professor Joseph Russomanno and his book entitled “Tortured Logic: A Verbatim Critique of the George W. Bush Presidency.”. The first question that was asked of Professor Russomanno was “What prompted you to write this book? I thought this analogy that Russomanno explained was very interesting. He compared the Bush administ...

Tara is such a special young lady. She is a FLO ARTS student and doing really well. As any woman would Tara and I took this opportunity to take some extra pictures along with the head shots she was in need of. I am very proud of her and it was a blessing being able to photograph her. The Reagan's such a wonderful couple! They asked me to take some pictures for their family and that includes little Zelda who was a pro at taking pictures. Thanks for a great day guys! Rylee is such a sweetie!

Business Intelligence, Web Analytics, Social Media, and more. Events, Papers, and Books. What Color is Your Parachute – the book. June 13, 2010. June 13, 2011. Countless friends and colleagues have praised. What Color is your Parachute. And I finally checked it out of the library recently. While I didn’t follow the exercises, I did spend some time thinking about the core questions that were being posed. For me, the book raised some basic self-awareness questions, but nothing extraordinary. I think th...

Places to go. People to meet. All I want is a front row seat. Thursday, April 30, 2015. MY LIFE A pretty awesome April. Every week living here in NYC seriously goes by so fast. I can't believe April is already over. From school and film shoots to getting grillz and eating so much food, this month was full of pleasant surprises. Take a look:. I got to try out my teaching chops! I was invited to guest lecture at a marketing/branding class for high school students through NYU's School of Professional Studies.
