http://christinemarciniak.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
The Writing Blog of Christine Marciniak. Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Looking Ahead to 2012. I think this is going to be a good year. I've got three projects in various stages that I'm working on. The first is Reality Ali. Next is Emily's Song. This is the story that I'm currently shopping around, so hopefully the year will bring good news for this time travel story. And finally, I'm in early revisions on a new story - working title Once Upon a Princess. I'm looking forward to a great writing year. Lights, ...

The Writing Blog of Christine Marciniak. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. When the Answer is Not No. Anyone who tries to write for publication, unless they have either extraordinary talent, or amazing good luck, has to get used to the response to any petition for publication to be No. No is sometimes said regretfully. No is sometimes said impersonally. No is sometimes indicated by silence. But there are the times the answer is not no. Accepted When Mike Kissed Emma. Was published by Zumaya Publications. But ther...

Simply Put: Friday Five
http://christinemarciniak.blogspot.com/2014/06/friday-five.html
The Writing Blog of Christine Marciniak. Friday, June 27, 2014. I see a lot of people do this - a quick five things on a Friday. Let's see what I can come up with. 1) Busily working on revisions that are morphing into a rewrite for Always, Ali. The fourth Ali book. 3) I've been re-reading some old books on my Nook. I love finding digitized copies of public domain works. I've discovered some great unknown (to me) stories this way and read some classics. Including Les Miserables. Lights, Camera, Ali.

Climbing Rose Authors: Laurie J. Edwards

Laurie J. Edwards. So what does a booklover do when it’s time to choose a profession? She becomes a librarian, of course, so she can read to her heart’s content and never have to pay fines for overdue books. Or—even better—she becomes an author, so she can write stories of her own to delight not only herself, but other readers. Laurie started out as a librarian, but then wrote picture books and easy readers. Now she’s graduated to YA fiction. Back to the Blog. Watch a Book Trailer. Denise Gwen - facebook.

I didn't know how much I loved to write, that was until about four years ago when I wrote my first book. Since then I've written five others and many articles and columns as well. I grew up in Nebraska, then moved to Colorado and am now living in Texas, and denial. Quite a change of scenery and shift in culture! Back to the Blog. Watch a Book Trailer. Beth Shriver - shoutlife. Whew, where to start! I've been writing, off and on, for nineteen years. I tooka few years off when I had my kids, but I missed writing so much I started back up again, in earnest, in 2000. A few close calls, a few near misses, and with every rejection, I knew I was getting just a little closer to my goal of getting published. Visit Denise at her website. Back to the Blog. From Hook to Book
Young Writers’ Resources. From Hook to Book. Inspiration, Imagination and an Operation. Sitting at my desk, I’m sure, like other creators, I’m surrounded by ephemera deeply connected to my writing life. The bits and bobs, I’ve collected over time that resonate with my stories and ideas, but may look like an assortment of oddities to anyone else. I bought the decorative horse brass (at right) from a small, cluttered craft shop at Land’s End in Cornwall. The pit pony and miner on the cart practically j...
