Thursday, 22 May 2014. Pretty Project on Vellum. More cards for you using Imagination Crafts products. This card was made with the Imagination Craft Daisy Decoupage stamp on Vellum. All of the Decoupage stamps are lovely and are very versatile to use for card-making, scrap-booking or home projects. The Daisies were first stamped onto Vellum with Silkies then embossed with an embossing tool to add depth. I decoupaged three large daisies then added more to the sides and top for effect. Monday, 30 June 2014. Docrafts Monday project - Flowers from Tissue paper. For my #docraftsmonday project Iv'e made some Tissue flowers from Craft Planet Tissue and the new Christmas Tissue available in shops from 1st July. These poppies are easy to make - just cut out some Die cut circles, cover a BBQ stick with docrafts craft tape - stick a bead on the top to stop the tissue falling off. Wednesday, 6 May 2015. Landscape Moon backgrounds from Imagination Crafts. As promised another card made with one of my backgrounds - Iv'e used a waterproof ink pad and acrylic paints to add colour to these background papers. The papers are coated so water-based ink pads do not dry well on them but waterproof ink pads work well. They still need a little time to dry as does any acrylic paint you use on them. Sunday, 24 July 2011. I've had a few emails and requests for a little tutorial on the corner bookmark that I did for this months Creativity. For those of you that wanted the step by steps, here you are. Cut a 10cm x 10cm square from card. Mark at 5cm on 3 of the edges. Score from both side marks to the mark at the top. Fold over the card to create a point. Cut a 6.5cm x 6.5cm square from paper. Cut this along the diagonal and use these triangles to decorate both sides of the bookmark. Layer and add ribbon.
