April 16, 2012. Thank you for all the kind words and messages of encouragement. In the end, I decided to drop out of the med school. I'm sorry for not writing back - I was hiding in my little cocoon not knowing what to make of this whole thing. Did I decide to quit or did I give up? As I watched the famous Stanford commencement speech by Steve Jobs. Do you see something, I mean anything, in me that I should recognize and nurture? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). February 18, 2012. I haven't had a day that I can just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery that's just right there. I'm talking myself into quitting. So tired of stuffing flood of information in my brain. What if I didn't care at all what other people think - would I still be doing this? Or would I pack and go home? I notice myself asking the same question I asked when I was in high school. What do I do with my life? If I didn't care what other people think of me, would I still be doing this?

Skip to search - Accesskey = s. Keep Your Eyes Peeled. By johnnysimon on September 28, 2009. I grew up, and currently reside in the Washington DC area, a region no stranger to dissent and protest. But the protests I viewed growing up never took place in people’s backyards or with so little respect payed towards the people whose neighborhoods these fringe elements had taken over. I felt embarrased for the group I was documenting. By johnnysimon on September 20, 2009. With that in mind I’m heading to...

December 9, 2014. Our beautiful wedding photos are here. Part 1. September 11, 2014. Finally put together a page for the wedding photos tagged with #bakkewedding. I am using Snapwidget. To display the images in a grid, because Instagram.com. Doesn’t have a way to display all tagged photos on a single page. The only downside I can see is that there is a limit to the number of images the widget can display. Enjoy! May 27, 2014. I can’t believe we are less than 100 days away from our wedding!
