The Road Less Traveled By: Super cute...
http://zacpenix.blogspot.com/2008/07/super-cute.html
The Road Less Traveled By. Sunday, July 20, 2008. I think it is inherently masculine to recognize beauty. In fact, I would go as far as to say, recognizing beauty should be more of a masculine characteristic than a feminine one. I would prototypically expect a woman to create beauty rather than recognize or imitate it. From man, I would expect only humorous attempts at imitation and/or bold and pronounced statements identifying some form of beauty in this world. Woah, where did this come from?

The Road Less Traveled By: time is relative
http://zacpenix.blogspot.com/2008/07/time-is-relative.html
The Road Less Traveled By. Wednesday, July 09, 2008. It amazes me how time seems so relative. When I was a kid, a 1.5 hour drive seemed like my entire life. Now, it is just a jaunt to the lake. What I really want to know is, have I grown more patient. or have I just become desensitized to life? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. Emily and Jonathan Odom. A Crux of Contradiction: Of Future Plans and My Lack Thereof
http://nathanlee-leavemebe.blogspot.com/2009/02/of-future-plans-and-my-lack-thereof.html
A Crux of Contradiction. Monday, February 23, 2009. Of Future Plans and My Lack Thereof. At this very moment, or at the moments just previous to my writing of these very words, I am, or was, really, planning my upcoming trip to Copan Ruinas. Honduras, where I am going to meet my friend Blair. Blair is in Copan working to set up an after-school program. The problem is, I don't really know how I'm going to get there. I have options, sure, but like with many other things down here that really do require...

L'chaim: 22
http://brettcolclasure.blogspot.com/2008/07/22.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Well friends, it’s way to late for me to be writing this, but I haven’t posted anything in a while and this seems to be a fitting occasion to post something. Earlier today, I figured out that tomorrow marks the beginning of both the 22nd day I’ve been in Israel and the 22nd year I’ve been on this earth. I’m not sure if it’s just coincidence or if there is some hidden meaning; I think maybe it’s better to wonder. Why do You whisper hopes and dreams that remain unfulfilled? Hey Br...

L'chaim: Poem #1
http://brettcolclasure.blogspot.com/2010/01/poem-1.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. I wonder what it’s like for you,. As we grasp for lofty phrases,. Hoping to articulate thoughts we had. When we glimpsed into other realms. What are you thinking when we struggle. The right words for the task,. And what are you feeling when we manage. Some feeble attempt at eloquence? I wonder what it’s like,. For you read words. Written by shaking hands. With eyes of timeless grace that. Perfect for our weakness. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Crux of Contradiction: Black Jesus
http://nathanlee-leavemebe.blogspot.com/2009/03/black-jesus.html
A Crux of Contradiction. Thursday, March 19, 2009. Continued from last post: Esquipulas. So after having so much great fun in Copán looking at old stuff, my comrades and I made our way to Esquipulas, Guatemala, on pilgrimage to the Cristo Negro. We left early Saturday morning, and arrived before noon. When we got there, there was already a very long line of pilgrims to see the unique sculpture. Basilica at Esquipulas, monument blocking view, and line. My party ate at Pizza Burger twice: once for dinner, ...

A Crux of Contradiction: Wanderlust and my Lack of Repentance Thereof
http://nathanlee-leavemebe.blogspot.com/2009/03/wanderlust-and-my-lack-of-repentance.html
A Crux of Contradiction. Friday, March 6, 2009. Wanderlust and my Lack of Repentance Thereof. What do I, an arcwelder, and a self-proclaimed Central American celebrity named Saul have in common? We all shared the bed of a little white on-site KIA pick-up truck from La Entrada to Copán Ruinas, Honduras. How did we find ourselves in this rare occasion of comradery? We used our thumbs. Well, except for the arcwelder. It was already in the truck. Saul Molina Calderón: Entertainer. While in Copán, I was pleas...

The Road Less Traveled By: iphone 3G
http://zacpenix.blogspot.com/2008/07/iphone-3g.html
The Road Less Traveled By. Saturday, July 12, 2008. As great as I think it is. I believe I am going to be sticking with the original iphone, at least for the time being:. 1) I am moving to Norman in a month. where there is no 3G coverage. 2) I have never found myself needing super accurate GPS, unless I was in my car. where I have a GPS, lol. 3) Over your locked 2 year contract, you pay an extra $360 for the iphone 3G. and I would bet you will not be "eligible" for a new phone for some time.
