Whiskey and Writing: Second Careers Worth Noting
http://afictitiousreality.blogspot.com/2010/05/second-careers-worth-noting.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Second Careers Worth Noting. During my internet strolling this morning, I stumbled upon Bjorn Borg's self-named fashion label. Something that until just now I've been completely oblivious to despite being a loyal tennis fan. On top of being a tennis icon/mastermind/superhuman, Borg is always one of the best dressed men in a tennis stadium and his hair. Oh! His hair is gorgeous! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Please melt! | FIZZ AND HONEY
https://honeyfizz.wordpress.com/2011/03/06/please-melt
Food Style. Travel. We’ve taste-tested many different grilled-cheese combos, and have really come to like a mix of melty cheeses rather than just one kind. For this meal, we used gruyere, manchego, and cheddar. We shredded even amounts of each, piled them between two slices of Fornax. Bread (which in our opinion is really the best for grilled cheese), and grilled them in three generous pats of butter. Also sells their own version of pickled green tomatoes that are very good. You all have heard me rave ab...

My crafty winter wonderland | FIZZ AND HONEY
https://honeyfizz.wordpress.com/2011/01/12/my-crafty-winter-wonderland
Food Style. Travel. My crafty winter wonderland. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, but not to worry! I’ve made a few mistakes, but hopefully you can’t see them. I’ve also been practicing lacework on this skinny pink scarf. It’s a bit meticulous in terms of having to remember when to do what, but it’s been fun to learn how to create those deliberate holes. I’m thinking this will be a nice spring wardrobe addition. Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 1 ). January 12th, 2011. In the mood for.

Back In The Swing Of It… | FIZZ AND HONEY
https://honeyfizz.wordpress.com/2012/04/30/back-in-the-swing-of-it-2
Food Style. Travel. Back In The Swing Of It…. So it’s been a while since we last surfaced. While plenty has happened since last summer’s post, we’ll start small. Bakerbiker, since February, has been taking an online course once a week, and it just so happens to fall on Sunday nights, 6-9pm. Ouch I know. But I’ve taken it as an opportunity to return to the Sunday night dinner tradition, which is the focus of today’s post. Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 0 ). Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Food Style. Travel. A pile of bikes! Every winter, bakerbiker and I, along with our good friends L and G, host a pie party. The idea’s pretty straightforward: everyone brings a pie of their choice and we gorge ourselves. bakerbiker and I made a blueberry crostada, using organic Maine blueberries we picked one summer and have been saving just for winter treats like this. A joie de vivre summer | FIZZ AND HONEY
https://honeyfizz.wordpress.com/2011/08/17/a-joie-de-vivre-summer
Food Style. Travel. A joie de vivre summer. I have to be honest – I had somewhat low expectations for France. I’ve been there once before and though I found it beautiful, I also found it to be rude and cold. But this time around, I made a point of adding to my limited French vocabulary by taking six months of Coffee Break French. Heirloom tomatoes with basil and burrata. In Saint-Germain and Spring Restaurant. Signing off for now, but more to come on other France highlights soon! Trackback ( 0 ). You are...
