Sunday, April 21, 2013. First picture: an hour post-fall. Second picture is from today. Luckily my OT is amazing. Cathy came in specially for me this past Saturday so I could get a massage to get the swelling down and do the other stuff (stretches, paraffin, weight bearing) that helps me keep my RSD in check. I was so grateful! 30 Things about my invisible illness you may not know. 1 The invisible illness I live with is:. Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Monday, April 21, 2014. It's been six days since my first neurosurgery. Today was my post-op appointment with my neurosurgeon, Dr. Henderson. Is be lying if I said the last few days weren't rough. The morning after my surgery I walked the halls some and finally ate. Also, selfie. I was discharged about 24 hours after the surgery. I was shocked. I knew that was a possibility, but I figured I was be staying two night. I immediately went back to the hotel and crashed. Wednesday, April 16, 2014. I feel bad t...

Monday, February 9, 2015. AND SO IT GOES. I have a miserable memory. Its something thats plagued me for years, and it seems unreasonable for me to hide that from you. Like my penchant for sitting on the couch with my hands down my pants for no reason at all. You deserve to know. Ive heard others describe forgetfulness as laziness and a lack of respect. But what the hell do those people know? Other than everything, apparently. With their elephantine memories.). So, what does all this matter? AND SO IT GOES.

If you cant keep the promise, why make it in the first place? Sick Girl Life – Chronic Illness & Life

Chronic Illness and Life. Still Months Away from a Neurologist. When my neurologist left Johns Hopkins, I was distraught at the fact that I had to find a new one. I knew it would take time. And I’m usually a very patient person, but I’ve been without pain relief for too long now. But I scheduled a new patient appointment with another neurologist anyway and was determined to wait my 6months. This month is January. My appointment was supposed to be February 1st, which was no problem! Linda White, please do...
