It is often easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission. Friday, July 1, 2011. Let me describe the worst day ever. Occasionally, I have to visit units on campus to provide assistance during speaking engagements for a a new project I am managing at work. Our presentation went ok. I usually do very little speaking, just provide the head nodding. I noticed someone (trying to protect the innocent). I proceeded to be verbally attacked. Think angry chihuahua, only the dog probably had its rabies shot.

The people I work with are AWESOME! The work environment is great - I have 2 windows! I am just grateful for this new experience. For years, I was very unhappy in my job. At dinner on Saturday night, I began to wonder why do people feel the need to constantly curse? I can understand an expletive or two if you stubbed your toe. Swearing during accidents seems more appropriate, but why sling curse words during normal conversation? A New York Times article. According to Answers.com, Gone with the Wind. Was the FIRST movie to use a curse word in 1939! There, I Fixed It.
