January 5, 2015. We again partnered up with the Department of Health and Welfare for their annual Community Christmas Gift Drive. We refurbished 20 bikes for kids, ages 2-13, that had them on their Christmas wish list! As always, helmets were given with each bike. We feel so fortunate that we can help put smiles on kids’ faces Christmas morning! We bet the kids are now looking forward to spring when they can try out their new bikes! We will soon start our event planning for 2015! Next post: Idaho Gives.

The first pedal strokes are a timeless rite of passage for any kid. We are starting out with the Wheels For Kids program, and we have lots of great ideas for future programs. Refurbish used and donated children’s bikes to usable condition. Provide these bikes and new helmets to children under the age of 11 whose families do not have the financial ability to do so. We are accepting donated bikes and cash donations to support our efforts. We are recruiting local volunteers and community partners.
