Sunday, May 17, 2009. Mom, Menopause, and Mid-Life Crisis. Normally one's kids are all grown up and away from home by the time mom goes through menopause and has a personal mid-life crisis. Not so with me. Having my kids at 35 and 42 eliminates the possibility of having my mid-life fun AFTER the kids are grown and gone. I'll be 60 when Olivia graduates from high school!
