Monday, October 24, 2011. I came across this beautiful Lisiathus. When I was at The College of the Atlantic. In Bar Harbor, Maine. I had done an Art Show there this past summer and was told about the gardens. Which I in turned returned back to photograph. It was a beautiful setting over looking the harbor. Unfortunately those photos didn't turn out too well, but I did get lots of flowers, which I will be adding to my website throughout the next couple of months. Links to this post. Let The Sunshine In!

Friday, June 29, 2012. Flower Power Friday.Buttercup. These small yellow flowers are found in meadows and along country roads. On a sunny day hold the flower under your chin and the bright yellow petals will bath your chin in yellow. Last weekend I was at the Saco Sidewalk Arts Festival. It was my first show of the season and the rain had threatened this event, but the sun ended up shining on everyone all day. The crowds were good and sales even better. It was great fun! In fact, one of the Sea World employees near the climbing nets had a broken arm.I wonder how that happened? Bay of Play Entrance. The next shot is of the new carousel located in the Bay of Play. Visitors are able to take a walk-through tour of a Boeing E-3 Sentry that is on display. Today's photo is a shot of the San Antonio skyline (from the vantage point of the top floor of the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel) that I took last year after the Christmas lights were lit along the Riverwalk and several of the local hotels decorated their exteriors with lights as well.
