April 17, 2015. In my previous blogs, I spoke about the problems that were arising with the low oil prices. Now, it seems as though there is a new problem arising; companies abandoning oil and gas wells. Could this be because of the low prices per barrel of oil? Or is this simply due to companies shifting to more technical horizontal drilling verses the traditional vertical drilling? Whichever rhyme or reason it might be, it is certainly taking a huge spike in today’s energy sectors. March 26, 2015.
