My Basic Travel Checklist. E-mails and other important documents (hotel reservations, flight confirmations, copies of passport, etc.). Camera charger, etc. Electrical adapters (if needed). Chewing gum and/or mints. Clothes: Anything you really need for your first day of the trip (including necessary shoes), in case your luggage gets lost. Toiletries: Remember not to carry on any liquids that are more than 3 ounces each. Contact lenses (just in case). Dresses or more formal attire. Cotton pads, Q-tips.
