My Place Under The Sun. Friday, December 31, 2004. Only an hour and a half to go before we bid 2004 goodbye. Yes folks, it's been 365 days or as I would rather count, 525,600 minutes. Overall, it's been a good year for us, here are some highlights of my year, in no particular order:. 1 Carlos was born March 28, 2004. 2 Valerie goes to school for the first time and absolutely loves it! 3 Had dinner with 2 people who are close to my heart, Dean and Nikki Alfar. 5 SineBuano launches its TV program on RCTV36.

My Place Under The Sun. Friday, January 28, 2005. Now that all the glitter and glamour (? Of the Cebuano Film Festival is gone, the Cebuano independent filmmakers will now have to face the question: Now what? Will I be able to fulfill the expectations handed down to me by the great directors I met during the film congress? I do not know but I will sure try. Posted by Benjie Ordonez at 11:08 PM. My Place Under The Sun. Tuesday, June 01, 2004. Just saw the video of the beheading of a certain Nicholas Berg, a civilian caught by the muslim rebels in iraq. it's sickening to think that these people think that what they did was for GOD. they even called upon him while Mr. Berg screamed as he was being beheaded. Truthfully, i had a headache after seeing the video. Oh, btw, i'm offline at home which is why i haven't updated this log. till next time. Posted by Benjie Ordonez at 4:59 PM. Mine, Mine, Mine.

My Place Under The Sun. Wednesday, April 28, 2004. Just woke up from a weird dream. i was skydiving holding and manually controlling two toy cars, one was a yellow sports car and the other one was white (i think). as they landed, i tried to open their chutes but they both failed. I supposedly woke up and my heart was really pounding. M even said that she'll get some meds to make it go slower.in reality, i was still asleep. Posted by Benjie Ordonez at 4:48 AM. My Place Under The Sun: Portfolio Gigs
http://benjieordonez.blogspot.com/2007/09/portfolio-gigs.html
My Place Under The Sun. Friday, September 14, 2007. Something I learned early as a photographer was that a portfolio never stops growing. Thus the question, when does one stop shooting for free for their portfolio? The answer is NOW. This also becomes a problem when you've started to establish yourself and start charging the same people who you used to shoot for free. They'd think that you've become big-headed or have become arrogant, when the simple truth is your only doing business. While I still do ac...

My Place Under The Sun. Monday, October 25, 2004. Like Us or Leave Us. I can't understand why some chinese who lives in the philippines, doesn't like filipinos. they don't like our race and our culture. some families even disown their children who marry filipinos, this is while they push their culture in our faces, from music to even the dreaded teleseryes. heck, they even call themselves filipino-chinese but they don't like the filipino part of their "origin". My Place Under The Sun. Sunday, May 09, 2004. But how does one actually go about this? How assured can one be that these people will look after the child's well-being. being a born catholic, i too experienced this, but i knew very little of my godparents. all i could remember was going to them during christmas and any other occassion to ask for money or gifts. My Place Under The Sun. Saturday, September 18, 2004. I had a nice discussion with some veteran Range Officers tonight. I amazes me how politics can change these veteran RO's from seasoned to almost wondering newbies. Rules change almost every year and not for the betterment of the sport but rather it complicate things that have always been gray. Posted by Benjie Ordonez at 11:25 PM. Wednesday, September 15, 2004.
