Thursday, July 21, 2011. Apple says over 1 million users bought Lion OS. Apple Inc said over 1 million people bought the latest version of its operating software for Mac computers on the first day. The multi-touch enabled Mac OS X Lion, priced at $30, is the eighth major update for the Mac computer line that has integrated cloud storage in everything from word processing to calendars and to-do lists.
