A photo Dock-u-mentary of our life. Monday, September 28, 2009. A plague on both your houses! Bee invasion and basement flooding all in the same week, same day actually. SERIOUSLY! See the 3 tiny holes in the metal plate not covered by stucco? That is where the bees would fly in to their giant nest in our wall, from there they got in the house. Bees in the house you say? Why yes. Isn't that totally normal? We thought that was normal. By spraying from the outside it forced them all inside! I thought for s...

Going Toblogganing: Fall Fun
http://going-toblogganing.blogspot.com/2010/10/fall-fun.html
October 23, 2010. Fall is usually a pretty short season in Minnesota. There's about a week of sweatshirts and then the parkas come out. This year, though, we've enjoyed a summery and sunny October (last year it snowed in early October). We've been trying to get outside when we can, and in October, that means leaf jumping. Note Hayden's flip-flops and shorts. Not usual leaf-jumping attire, but we don't mind. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Children's Classic Book Art of the Day. Cool stuff for kids.

Going Toblogganing: And then we were five...
http://going-toblogganing.blogspot.com/2011/02/and-then-we-were-five.html
February 9, 2011. And then we were five. On Dec 9th, we welcomed little Felix into the world. Felix's arrival was so unlikely on so many levels that I'm still in a state of happy shock, 2 months after his birth. I had a complication-free c-section. No blood transfusions, no ICU. No anemia. 8 units of specially ordered blood sat unused in the blood bank. And despite having surgery, this was my shortest hospital stay. And Felix- mellow, healthy, happy. No jaundice, so no bili-bed. Cool stuff for kids.

Sarah's Stories: July 2010

There was never yet an uninteresting life. Such a thing is an impossibility. Inside of the dullest exterior there is a drama, a comedy, and a tragedy.” -Mark Twain. View my complete profile. A few of my favorite quotes. We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us."- E.M. Forester. If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything."-A. Jones. The story of Danny (above).
