We also invite you to review our 2013 Annual Report. The City Rescue Mission has a long history of feeding the hungry in our community. Since opening a soup kitchen during the depression, we have provided quality meals 365 days a year to those in need. The City Rescue Mission is the largest emergency shelter in Michigan's capital area. We provide a safe haven to men, women, and children, with 84 beds for men and 100 for women and children. Our Life Transformation Program offers16 beds.
