Tending to the little urban garden Im growing on my porch (this is the first time Ive planted flower boxes and such, and the added color really gives me a boost when I sit out there and watch the summer sun rise and fall over Brooklyn.). Picnics with Drew and friends in Prospect Park. Visiting family and friends in Chicago and St. Louis next month. Road tripping upstate with friends for a country wedding. Not sucking in my belly at the beach. Quiet mornings on the porch with the cats.

February 02, 2011. The Problem with Having Ten Nominations. I love working from home for many reasons cats as coworkers, wine with lunch, and a pants optional dress code to name a few but it does get lonely from time to time and there are days when my thoughts are spoken outloud a little more than Id like to admit. Thankfully, I have a wonderful remedy for this kind of loneliness and its called Trader Joes. Its like a nonstop love fest there. Staffers are always, Hey, whats up? What do you think of them?
