CK works: One On One and counting
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/06/one-on-one-and-counting.html
Wednesday, June 28, 2006. One On One and counting. After feverish activity the first 456 rolls out of the CK Works factory (garage) door, the picture on the left is the stealth version! Against my expectations that weird looking handle bar is remarkably comfortable and the steering surprising sharp and responsive considering the 130 mm fork. All we need is Tango for a test ride/thrash to work out any bugs in the gears! Posted by CK @ 12:43 PM. What happened your blog, Ken? Wed Jul 26, 05:32:00 AM.

Sunday, June 04, 2006. With the latest "bling" bits in place Tony's new rig is complete, though I don't think it'll ever see any mud. ( that would cover up the shiny bits! Posted by CK @ 10:06 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. View my complete profile. Tango and Cash Transalp '06.

CK works: Suspension forks 3
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/05/suspension-forks-3.html
Wednesday, May 17, 2006. At the other end of the dual crown fork range are the Marzocchi Super Monster T's, these beasts wouldn't look out of place on a 250 cc scrambler! The travel on offer here is just over 300 mm, just shy of dirt bike territory, but they are much heavier and longer than the RC37's or the Z1's. Posted by CK @ 10:48 AM. Gosh, I just LOVE your big shiny stanchions! Mon May 22, 08:28:00 AM. View my complete profile. Tango and Cash Transalp '06.

CK works: Tango and Crash!
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/05/tango-and-crash.html
Friday, May 26, 2006. I can usually resuscitate most injured steeds but sometimes sadly the only remedy is amputation, here is the aftermath of our shortest nocturnal ride-out on record (12 mins 35 sec I think! The amputated head tube now resides on the guilty parties desk, a constant reminder of the perils of not looking before you leap. Posted by CK @ 7:20 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. CK works: Suspension forks 2
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/05/suspension-forks-2.html
Wednesday, May 17, 2006. All the forks in the last post are referred to as single crown forks, however when the fork travel exceeds 130 - 150 mm a very stiff (read heavy) crown is required. Enter the dual crown fork! Instead of having just one substantial crown at the bottom it's split into two lighter crowns, one below the head tube and one above. Posted by CK @ 10:29 AM. CK works: Come in Alpha Tango 456 over
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/06/come-in-alpha-tango-456-over.html
Friday, June 23, 2006. Come in Alpha Tango 456 over. And so it begins who will get their 456 first? That's easy the man who delivers the most beer wins! But for the moment both 456's are being assembled in parallel, new headsets and bottom brackets have been fitted and new drive train components are on order. Ps the 456 images above are of Tango's rig. Posted by CK @ 11:41 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. View my complete profile. Tango and Cash Transalp '06.

CK works: Would you let these people in?
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/06/would-you-let-these-people-in.html
Friday, June 23, 2006. Would you let these people in? I thought I'd saw it all, but to open your front door and see two loonies in Hawaiian shirts armed with 456 caliber weapons, well I though I was a gonner! Turns out it was Tango and Cash in disguise and not the local Hawaiian Mafia looking for a Spam donation. Seeing as they brought some beer I let them in! Posted by CK @ 5:05 AM. You mean you thought you had SEEN it all, CK. Come on, no excuse for lazy grammar! Mon Jun 26, 02:21:00 AM.

CK works: Recycling CK style
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/05/recycling-ck-style.html
Friday, May 26, 2006. I've finally got round to recycling the crashed frame from the last post, now much as I would like a Park professional wheel jig its way too expensive. So with the application of a hacksaw and a grinder we end up with a serviceable rear wheel jig, some old brake cantilevers will be added for rim guides, sorted! Posted by CK @ 7:43 AM. Nice work, Ken. You should have enough steel left over for an array of novelty butt-plugs! Wed May 31, 12:04:00 AM. Wed May 31, 11:55:00 AM.

CK works
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/06/happy-couple-as-you-can-see-tony-has.html
Sunday, June 04, 2006. As you can see Tony has even died his hair to match the gold anodized bling on his bike! Now that dedication for you, colour coordinating yourself with your bike, can't see Tango and Cash doing that! Posted by CK @ 10:14 AM. Tony wants to be careful holding the bike like that. Nasty unsightly fingerprints will surely ensue. Mon Jun 26, 02:20:00 AM. View my complete profile. Tango and Cash Transalp '06.

CK works: Suspension forks 1
http://ck-works.blogspot.com/2006/05/suspension-forks-1.html
Monday, May 15, 2006. I've just amazed myself in resisting the temptation to post a huge collection of fork puns, anyway what we have here is some Marzocchi forks with a hint of RockShoc to the right. From the left Z1 drop offs, a 130 mm travel fork from the dark side; big, mean and hard to kill, the orange (or Tango:) forks are the original Z1 100 mm travel, these started the change from springy rubber to coil springs and hydraulic damping (thankfully!
