Opening night at Cafe Vie D’Amour Weymouth. Ibraheem and Myself are pleased to present Weymouth with it’s first Pop-Up Restaurant. We opened doors on the 19th of June with a fantastic opening night. Our First course of the evening above – Bocconcini With Apricot, Tomato and Burn’t Onion. The night was a great success we had a full house. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and our front of house team did a great job. Kaffir Lime Pannacotta, Passion fruit Jelly and Lime and Yoghurt Sorbet.

Beetroot Macaroons with Horseradish Cream | Claire Hutchings

Beetroot Macaroons with Horseradish Cream. 1g cream of tartar. 250ml beetroot juice reduced to syrup. Blend icing sugar and almonds to a fine powder. Then whisk up egg whites and cream of tartar and 10% of the caster sugar. Then when its almost up in volume add the rest of the sugar, whisk to a stiff peak consistency of meringue then fold beetroot syrup and the sugar and almonds until you have a shiney base. Leave to cool and serve. 1 inch fresh grated horseradish. An Exciting Year at Zaranda.
