Adventures for the Alter Ego | Before the Throne
https://sarabethharlow.wordpress.com/2012/07/02/adventures-for-the-alter-ego
Adventures for the Alter Ego. I’ve always been a fan of nicknames. They drive some people up the wall, but not me. Nope. When people call me by a special name it makes me feel loved. With that being said, my love tank will be overflowing come mid-August. As most of you know, I have grown up going to Pine Cove. Camp has often been the highlight of my summer, and sometimes even year. I think it is impossible for me to come back from camp and not have some big encounter with the Lord. 8221; Why yes, I thoug...

Community | Before the Throne
https://sarabethharlow.wordpress.com/2010/12/20/community
I feel like a broken record. Community this and community that. Community…community…community. For so long it’s just existed; been there without much supporting logic as to its presence. It is no secret that Believers should share in each other’s company. However, I didn’t heed much to this thought nor did I explore the basis of this concept. I left it at face value: “Everyone wants friends! Please know that my current town hasn’t been crossed off my list. That’s the first thing people al...8221; To whic...

Behind the Name | Before the Throne
https://sarabethharlow.wordpress.com/behind-the-name
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. We are called to find ourselves constantly at that throne, presenting whatever we have to the One. I don’t have this down pat by any means, but it is my prayer I will find myself before the Throne more and more with each day. Broken before the Throne. Joyful before the Throne. Humbled before the Throne. My life is h...

Tidbits of Truth | Before the Throne
https://sarabethharlow.wordpress.com/tidbits-of-truth
I LOVE Scripture. Love. It. God’s Word always calms me down, encourages me, comforts me, or in some way or another speaks to me. Time to put all of that goodness in one spot! As I come across a verse, I’ll add it…if you come across a verse, send it to me! Or better yet, comment below! I can’t wait to see what this page becomes…. Psalm 34:5 – “Those who look to him are radiant”. Psalm 34:18 – “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”. Isaiah 48:17 – “T...Isaiah 54...

Baby Ruths. | Before the Throne
https://sarabethharlow.wordpress.com/2011/07/17/baby-ruths
I loved the Baby Ruth program. Those five weeks were intense. I’ve never cried that much, shared that much, or grown so much in such a short amount of time. I’m thankful for the work God did on my heart then and for the work that He will continue in me until it is complete on the day of Christ. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Collegiate. | Before the Throne
https://sarabethharlow.wordpress.com/2012/01/02/collegiate
There is no exaggeration when I say that I can’t believe that I’m already done with a semester of college. 1/8th of my college career is complete. The days, weeks, and months have flown by. But I have loved every moment of it. August 20th - All Moved In. Move in. The beginning of it all. And I thought I knew what was up ahead…. August 26th - Bid Day. PS – These two cuties, Beth and Morgan, are a MAJOR reason I went Theta. September 4th - First Football Game of the Season. October 6th - Big/Lil Reveal.
