Chose how you want the CROCS tool to work. See the section on the system tray for more info. For a quick guide on using this screen. You will also notice a Random Gravity option on the latest release of the tool. For 5 minutes, every 5 seconds a random gravity will be set on the server :D. A very useful setting here is the Autodetect password - if you have rcon set up then you don't need to enter the server password to get into the game again, it works it out for you as you enter the game.

You don't need rcon admin to view server settings, but you do if you want to change settings. This is a useful tab if you have a match server, or want to set one up. Even if you are about to play a match on someone else's server, you can use this tab to check that their server settings are correct for a match. The settings are kept in the match settings.txt file, and you can add your own to this, or change the values in here to be whatever you want on your server. If you wish to unset the password, click...

Enter the details that are valid for this server - such as who you are, which hl.exe you want to use (you can have a different one for each server, in case you have any 1.5 servers still). Enter the server password if the server is currently passworded. If you have rcon for this server, and it is set up (in the Admin Tab), then you never need to enter the password. The tool does this for you. (It asks the server what the current password is and uses it when playing the game). For 3rd party mods like natu...

If you aren't an admin then this screen is of no interest to you yet! If you do have rcon admin rights on a server then you can use this tab to list all the players you know. Of course they don't have to all be friends - you can also put people that you want to 'keep an eye on' in the list - if they join under a different name this tool will show you who they really are! For a quick guide on using this screen.

This simple little app allows you to kick. People from your Counter-Strike server, using your Pocket PC. Developed for Windows Mobile 2003 (should work on 2002 as well). Do I need a network card? No - I don't own one. I have the PPC docked and tick the 'ActiveSync Only' tick box, set an rcon password and off you go. What can't I do if I have no network card? Is there an easier way of entering the passwords? But I use the emulators to see if it will work - and I don't own a network card (yet!
