From Black Rock City to Bangkok, and beyond, by Bones. Northward, with Jack. Published Tuesday, September 26, 2006 by Bones. Did a doublepost this time 'cause I had some time, so the one below is new, too. Enjoy! On the Nature of Our Things. Headlamps were the only thing that let us get back from Raylay East to Tonsai Beach in the dark over the top through the jungle route. After our snorkel trip the tide was all the way in, so the easy way back was neck-deep in water and pitch black. She told me, and on...

Music, Poker, and Life: July 2006
http://kindbits.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Music, Poker, and Life. Thursday, July 27, 2006. My online bankroll has been moving in the right direction as of late, and quickly at that. I've had a really good week. I guess when you make more $ in your 2 days off than you bring home in your weekly paycheck, that qualifies as a good week, right? Or I just needing a better paying job, it can work either way I suppose- lol. Am I becoming a better poker player, or just an opportunistic one? Posted by kindbits at 4:53 AM. Sunday, July 23, 2006. Especially...

Music, Poker, and Life. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. All work and no play. It's been over a week since I have played any poker. I suffered through a looooooong week at work, amassing over 70 hours due to the Memorial Day holiday (including one marathon 18 hour shift). Unfortunately, I am on salary so this did nothing for my paycheck! I state that I have, then he points to a guy next to the fresh doughnut case. Does he look familiar to you? Music, Poker, and Life. Thursday, October 26, 2006. Owning a house can sure tire you out! The last week and a half I have spackled, primed, painted, scrubbed, drilled, installed, screwed (not the fun kind), and hammered enough to last me for 20 years. The good folks at Home Depot now wave to me when I show up twice a day. There is still a lot to do, but we are getting there. Big day yesterday. deliveries! Posted by kindbits at 8:35 AM. Music, Poker, and Life: September 2006
http://kindbits.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Music, Poker, and Life. Thursday, September 21, 2006. It's been one hell of a week. So of course being up all night saturday, I slept through a good portion of the Eagles-Giants game on sunday, but I was very happy with the result. Living as a Giants fan in Philadelphia can be unbearable when the Eagles are victorious. Would you believe I haven't heard a peep out of those obnoxious Philly fans this week! I've actually behaved myself and haven't rubbed it in too much, with as brutal as that loss was.

By the end of the 5 hour drive back from Cantho in the Mekong Delta I thought my mind would explode if I heard another motobike beep. The Bangkok night awaits, and the flight beyond that. One more time together. One more time, tonight. Madame, Tuk Tuk?

Don Khong was good, but it was a little boring, so we knew we had to go deeper and find someplace even smaller and more relaxed. We booked a boat for the next morning and at 8:30am, seven of us got on board and headed south for Don Det. 0 Responses to “Paradise Found”.
