I have learned a lot of new skills and live independently with support. I have great days out, holidays, parties etc. I get so much support and always have a great laugh. Founded in the late 1970's and first known as the Parents and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped, a support group. Was established which provided a meeting place/focus point for parents and friends. At this time most of the group's time was spent on fund raising to support Day and School Services which were already established in the town of Navan, Co Meath.
