Have Goslings, must Travel. Monday, 10 August 2015. Last few days on Anna Marie Island. We enjoyed our last couple of days on Anna Marie Island. We went out for dinner at the Sandbar, and had a few too many cocktails. The kids loved walking home on the beach. I think this holiday really did show that we are beach people. Well, just holiday people. We certainly work to live, and not live to work. We loved the beach here, it was so beautiful, and the water was always warm. After last years crazy holiday.

Have Goslings, must Travel. Friday, 20 February 2015. Thought I would partake in five on Friday this week. Here I have five things I have learned while being on my own with my kids. 1 11 days without my husband is a really long time! 2 My kids are awesome. And very hard work! 3 Sewing calms me down. After hard days with my small children, there is nothing more relaxing than getting the sewing machine out. I am working on a quilt for one of the boys. It is my first attempt. Ah, the beautiful taste of summer. It's getting closer, can you feel it? Ingredients for 2 drinks. I put all the ingredients in the cocktail shaker, and well, shook. Always dabbling around with photography, I decided to formalise my knowledge by applying for a place at Photo Access in Christchurch and completed the Certificate in Professional Photography in 2000. My interests lie in experimental and art photography, especially working with polaroid and close up images. I like to use film rather than digital technology. Over the past couple of years I have become interested in printmaking and am working on a series of monoprints of New Zealand mountains.
