Lark Hall Learning Values. Each week your child will receive homework. This will include:. Spellings homework, including sentence writing and key word practise. Times tables – 2, 3, 4, 5, 10x. Reading – this should happen every day, as well as being recorded in the Reading Diary. At least twice a week. Children will be rewarded for bringing in homework and the school really appreciates all efforts children make with their learning at home. Spelling and times tables tests will be held every Friday morning.

Class 5 St. Helen's. Monday, 9 January 2017. We thought about the forces involved, e.g gravity pulled Icarus towards the Earth. We learnt about air resistance and then designed and made parachutes. We learnt that more surface area equals more air resistance so we needed to make our parachutes with the greatest possible surface area.
