So after a long break from boat maintenance, in which we missed Marelle's yearly varnish, we have lifted out at Premier Swanwick for lots of improvements as well as the overdue anti foul and topsides varnish. Roof sides varnished, but I think we'll have to see how everything else goes before adding this in. We are going to paint the coach roof with Epifanes light cream, which should look fantastic next to all the varnished teak. Unusual weather cond...

Marelle - McGruer classic yacht. Monday, 18 April 2011. Marelle is a 36 foot teak classic yacht designed by McGruer in 1965 and built by Deacons Boatyard, on the Hamble River. We bought her in November 2010 and brought her back home to the Hamble. We are currently working on a major refit at Universal Metre Shed.
