Adventures with Bret and Claudia (Braudia). Monday, March 24, 2008. Bret and I have just returned from a fabulous trip to Ireland. Even though we’ve already been to Dublin, we decided to go back because our friend Tom was going to be there with his rugby team. So we booked ourselves a cheap flight and a cheap hotel, and headed out. Temple Bar was absolutely manic! On Easter Sunday, we reluctantly headed back to England. But we have lots of travel plans coming up:. 1 Edinburgh in April. 2 Amsterdam in June.

Friday, March 7, 2008. Well, the universe has spoken. I have a job! I will be moving to BMore, MD to work as a postdoc at a small, Je.suit College there. I got the job offer on Wednesday and accepted it on Thursday! I'm super excited about 1. being done with school; 2. living in a REAL city, especially one that is close to perhaps my favorite city ever; and 3. becoming a real person. Son fáciles de hacer en casa y mucho mas ricos que los comprados, por lo menos de los que solemos encontrar en supermercados, porque las buenas heladerías normalmente no están cerca de casa. Creo que una vez que comenzamos a hacer helados caseros, se vuelve adictivo. Espero que les guste mi propuesta y los hagan. 520 grs. de leche entera. 100 grs. de nata (35% MG).
