Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. I don't know if Ethan was more excited about turning 8, or the fact that he was going to be baptized. I still can't believe that I have a kid old enough for this! I wanted his invitation to look awesome. I originally wanted to take him down to Nashville and get some pictures at the temple, but the weather was always too cold or rainy. So, I sat him down at the piano, and it turned out perfect! I love it so much! We are so blessed!

For the last cub scout activity Ethan had before summer, they wanted them to bring their favorite dessert. It wasn't too hard convincing Ethan that cupcakes were the way to go. The recipe I used was a total hit! I wanted to eat the whole batch alone. Seriously, they were sooooo gooooood! And I found a new buttercream recipe too. I made an American Flag!

Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful. Thursday, July 2, 2015. Last Thursday, Brian and I celebrated our 11th Wedding Anniversary! Every year, I am just amazed that we've been married for so long. We haven't always seen eye to eye, but we've gotten through A LOT together. And this is how it came out! Not exactly the same thing, but hey, it didn't look like crap, so I left it. And, I tried to make my face look purtty too. So we made good use of their money haha. Look at how HUGE that one is!

Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. This year was a good one. Not because I got everything I wanted, or that I got to sleep in, or my kids didn't fight, I didn't have to cook or clean up after dinner.cause none of those things happened, but my attitude was in the right place. Just because it was Mothers day, didn't mean I got a break. I had a good day anyways. AND, he painted this for me! It's so pretty and I love it! I love how artistic he is! He's such a good kid.

I regretted signing him up because I really wanted summer break to start when school was out. One more week of waking up early and getting out the door. I don't have any pictures of the week yet, but on Friday, we all went and had lunch with him. It was fun to see him with his new friends. They had a little skit they prepared.so funny! Minecraft was the theme.weird.
