Steve.V.C.: November 2008
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 18, 2008. I don't know exactly what was supposed to happen in THE YEAR 2000. Over the last several years I'm not so sure that this lack of action is a sign that there is no god, but rather a clear indication that god has lost interest in the project. And why wouldn't he? Let's assume that Christians are right and God sent his son, Jesus, down here to get things squared away.it seems like that message has been lost in translation, has it not? The Stormin' Mormons invested heavily into pr...

Steve.V.C.: December 2008
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 17, 2008. An asshole by any other name. Perhaps you've read the story. Of a New Jersey man's struggle to acquire a birthday cake for his child earlier this month. Heath Campbell thinks it's time for people to stop living in the past but isn't that what he's doing by naming his son Adolf Hitler Campbell? Now the Campbells are upset that they are the focus of a lot of ire. They claim that they've been harassed by angry postings on the internet in response to a local article on their...

Steve.V.C.: July 2009
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. You'll never catch me, Dudley! I often forget that Mike Coleman is a black man. Normally that would be a good thing. We need to live in a society where color doesn’t matter but in Mike Coleman’s case I don’t think about his ethnicity because of his mustache. Facial hair is a tricky maneuver that not everybody should be trying. Goatees and mustaches are especially difficult to negotiate because they require regular maintenance that is even more demanding than shaving. They&...Besid...

Steve.V.C.: For the Kids
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2012/10/for-kids.html
Tuesday, October 02, 2012. I was wondering when somebody in the NFL might take a stand for the right. In fact, I was surprised that somebody came out in favor of gay marriage. Most athletes have religion crammed down their throats by their coaches and peers. Even though Matt Birk has attempted to offer his point of view in an eloquent and non-combative manner, his position is selfish, arrogant and generally repugnant. Moreover, it is cowardly. How dare you hide your bigotry behind children? We often asso...

Steve.V.C.: February 2009
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2009. Seriously, I'm sorry. I just read a story. About Columbus mayor Mike Coleman's State of the City address. Obviously. I didn't watch it last night. Apparently the City of Columbus, like most cities, is facing some serious budget shortfalls. In addition to the variety of fees and fines Columbus imposes to generate revenue, the city also charges a flat 2% income tax to both residents and people who work here. During the 80s, when the rest of Ohio was getting its ass kicked. Over H...

Steve.V.C.: May 2009
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 08, 2009. The guy is an assclown but because the people who run conservative media outlets are elitist snobs who think that working class people are just as moronic as Weeblebater, they keep giving him a forum to speak his mind and that’s too bad. Steve.V.C.: January 2009
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. Has issued a report claiming that one out of six ads featured during football broadcasts are inappropriate for children. The report breaks down the number of ads that feature violent content (probably promos for 24 run incessantly by Fox during football broadcasts), alcohol, sexual content and the uncomfortable subject of erectile dysfunction. I guess they have a point but the one thing I don't get is who determines what is appropriate for children? Look, I don't like those.

Steve.V.C.: To Mitt:
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2012/09/to-mitt.html
Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Dear Mr. Romney,. I saw what you said about 47% of the country and I wanted to respond. I'm voting for Obama because, well, fuck you, that's why. How's that? I'm tired of silver-spoon cocksuckers like you milking your trust fund and your daddy's connections for a monumental advantage in life so you can turn around and act like you actually made something of yourself. You dirty, rat-faced scoundrel! Fuck the 13% you pay in taxes. Well, fuck them, too. View my complete profile.

Steve.V.C.: Abort, Abort, Abort
http://stevevc.blogspot.com/2010/01/abort-abort-abort.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. Abort, Abort, Abort. There's a lot being made of Tim Tebow's Super Bowl commercial for Focus on the Family. Apparently Tim's spot is going to feature a pro life message and that has a lot of pro choice advocates upset. They're not as upset by the commercial as they are Focus on the Family's tactics. Focus on the Family often characterizes people who are pro choice as being pro abortion. This is simply true. Now I know what you're thinking: Steve, a lot of those pregnant woman ...
