My name is Ben Claytor and I am biking cross country. Look What I Found. At least I reached the Atlantic ocean. I was greeted by my girlfriend, Jessica, who had flown down to meet me as I finished crossing the country before I headed up to Cape May. I had crossed from the Pacific to the Atlantic in just under 2 months. I left April 28th and arrived June 27th. Today we are relaxing and doing some more exploring before Jessica’s flight back home and my crossing of the Chesapeake bay bridge. June 29, 2014.

My name is Ben Claytor and I am biking cross country. Today’s ride was tough. Not in the sense that the riding was difficult (it wasn’t), but in the sense that I had hit the Atlantic, took two relaxing days, and just felt like that was it, I should be done. However I still had about 150 miles to go. Today was also my last full day. Tomorrow I will be in Cape May and finished. It is hard to believe and has not sunk in, but I am excited. But tonight I am staying on my first real big body of water that connects to ocean. Although it’s the Chickahominy River I am right next to the James River and I can definitely smell salt water, and it is good. Here are a few shots from today:.
