EVERY DAY IS A REVOLUTION. Sunday, April 05, 2009. So let His people sing, sing, sing. It was slightly more chilly at the service than it had been before, although the sun was shining bright. I made it a point when walking down the hill to receive communion to look around at the people around me. I've tried to do this more often lately, for if UBC baptism services have done anything, it is to make me try and memorize the moments I have with these people that I love. Did I mention the sun was shining?

EVERY DAY IS A REVOLUTION. Tuesday, December 01, 2009. This has been one of the busiest days in one of the busiest weeks of my year. Yet, strangely, it has not felt that way. I had plenty of time to feed my new addiction- computer chess, play with my dog and marvel at how quirky she has become, and even get work done and make a few people laugh along the way. It's been a good day. Plus, in researching for a talk I am giving tomorrow, I ran across a million great advent quotes. Here is one.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009. A day of relief. It has been 100 degrees here in Waco for the past 2-3 weeks. Thankfully, today it is noon and only 75! I always think that because I grew up in Texas that I can stand the heat, but it is not true! I have spent alot of my free time crafting lately. I have been making headbands to sale at the store I work in (Harts N Crafts). I have sold several! It makes me feel so great when someone buys something that I created. I think they are so 'me'! Tuesday, June 17, 2008. I've been home since. Deal Everyone has been so helpful. I have gotten so many wonderful presents and meals. Mom has really appreciated the help. I should be back at church on Sunday. Yea! I am finally able to get out of the house. Yesterday Mom and I went to Kohl's and she had to push me around in the wheel chair because I couldn't. In Search of Reality. Sunday, September 21, 2008. So I finally got back into reading for fun. Apparently the lag time after grad school is about a year, but I made it. In fact, I've started a habit of reading three books at once! One at home, one on CD in the car and one at work during lunch. I try to read at least one fiction book and one non-fiction book at a time. We'll see how long this keeps up but for now I'm enjoying it. The non-fiction book I'm reading currently is. Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Jana(my fiancee) and I visited Stephen's church last night. They are expanding to grow along with the membership and so Stephen is getting a bigger youth room. We talked for awhile about how he'll set up the new room once it's finished. Stephen talked about creating Sacred Space for his youth. Why am I thinking about this? So here's my question- What should sacred space for a community look like? Tim in the Margins.

I haven't posted since before going to Passport. With the youth of Emory Pres. That was a bittersweet week. I thought the camp was great, but it was tough saying goodbye to a group of kids I really enjoyed being with. Thursday I started my new position as Director of Student Ministries at First United Methodist Church of Monroe, Georgia.
