Remote Control and Mail-In. Humidity Control and XAS. Computing and Data Transfer. Beamline 08ID-1 is ideal for:. Crystals that are very small or weakly diffracting. Crystals having very large unit cells. A user-friendly interface developed in-house. The beamline is equipped with a Röntec XFlash 1001 to perform X-ray spectroscopy for MAD and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) on the same crystals, and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) for metal tracing on protein derivative crystals. Minimum Gap: 5 mm.
