Huoniao HN 125-8 servicing and maintenance. At this point i usually drop a screwdriver or pencil down the spark plug hole then as the engine rotates the screwdriver raises. You need to find T.D.C.(top dead center)this is where the piston reaches it's maximum height. The crank shaft has about 20-30 degrees of movement whilst the piston is at T.D.C. You need to find the mid way point between when the piston reaches the top of its travel and when it begins to lower. Huoniao HN 125-8. An owners blogg.

Engine oil change

Huoniao HN 125-8 servicing and maintenance. As the engine is of old design i decided to go for an oil designed for motorbikes. Halfords 10w40 4stroke oil semi synthetic. Run the engine for about 10 mins as warm oil flows better than cold. Place a suitable container under the drain plug and using a suitable 17mm socket or ring spanner remove the plug. Whilst the oil is draining remove the oil fillercap/dip stick. Cover of oil filter/strainer. Cover removed. spring and filter in position.

Huoniao HN 125-8 servicing and maintenance. Remove the spring and the filter and clear any debris. Spring and filter removed. Filter cleaned and waiting to be refitted. Refit the filter and spring. Check theO ring of the cover for damage the refit the cover. Refit the drain plug and add 1 liter of oil, refit the filler cap. Run the engine and check for oil leaks. Switch off leave for a minute or two then using the dip stick check the oil level and adjust if necessary. Huoniao HN 125-8. An owners blogg.

Huoniao HN 125-8 servicing and maintenance. The loom with the 4 pin connector is located directly under the bike by the main stand. The loom passes up through the bike and joins the main loom under the seat. 4 pin connector under bike.
