Friday, August 25, 2006. A few Saturday mornings I have studied at Atlanta Bread Company. It has good coffee, a nice environment, and it’s close to the house. Most mornings it’s quiet and provides a peaceful study environment. Well, Saturday before last was different. As simple and cliché as it sounds, we need to practice what we preach! Monday, June 19, 2006. David was dedicated yesterday (Sunday, June 18th - Father's Day and my parent's 36th wedding anniversary). In attendance were my parents, Chandler and Jessica, Jessica's Dad, Scott, and myself. We really missed not having Scott's parents, Bill, Sarah and other family and friends there with us. Thursday, November 09, 2006. David had a great first Halloween as a lion. Though we didn't take him tricker-treating, he wore his costume to school last week. It was a blast having a little one to dress-up. I'm sure it was more fun for the parents and grandparents than David. Oh well, he was a good sport!

Friday, September 22, 2006. I call this meeting to order". We can already tell that David is a Vikings fan. Scott and I were watching the game on Sunday. When the Vikes scored a touchdown, Scott was hootin' and hollerin' which delighted David to no end. He just started laughing and getting excited. It was so neat to watch his facial expressions. Wednesday, December 27, 2006. The Dog Named Cat. The day after Christmas we flew to Minnesota to celebrate Christmas with Scott’s family and to attend Aunt Sarah’s wedding (see next entry). It was so much fun to celebrate with the Nelsons, Sarah, and her soon-to-be husband Adam. In the mists of opening Christmas presents, wedding preparations were in full swing. Thursday, April 27, 2006. As you can see from the picture, he loves to grab the octopus legs and put them into his mouth, chewing on them. He has actually beaten me to eating octopus.my first taste was Octopus Soup in Mexico at the age of 2. Speaking of sea creatures, David and I had a chance to visit the Georgia Aquarium this week. With the additional burden, I've given up on the "sorting" part and just throw all the clothes in together. SHOUT Color Catcher (thanks, Betty) is very helpful in that you throw this sheet in with your clothes and it collects the excess dye to prevent it from staining other clothes.
