Defra coast protection grant has now been awarded and Environment Agency (EA) South West Region NRG approval received, such that the project is effectively receiving 100% Exchequer Grant. The project is included on the Defra and EA forward capital programmes, with an indicated programme start of September 2006 (completion target August 2008). West Dorset District Council.
