Valerie Graves has been guiding children in Montessori primary classrooms for seven years and has now been caring for children, along with her own, in her home for almost three. Valerie was trained in the Montessori method at the Montessori Institute. Northwest, an AMI training center in Portland, Oregon in 2003. She also holds a Master's degree in early childhood education from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. Valerie has directed classes of 20-28 children at The Cobb School.
